Shipping Update: METAL SLUG

3rd November 2017

Firstly, thank you again for ordering our Metal Slug release.

We received our stock earlier this week. As you can see, it looks wonderful and we were excited to begin shipping your orders.

Unfortunately however, during our final quality control checks we found a serious issue with the audio. After some investigation, it was discovered that during the manufacturing process, one of the stampers used to press the records developed a fault. This resulted in increased noise and other abnormalities during playback, affecting all three editions.

While the record itself was certainly playable, we are completely unwilling to ship out a product that falls below the high standards you’ve come to expect from us. Therefore, we have taken the decision to destroy and repress the entire run. Inevitably, this will have an effect on the estimated shipping date of your orders.

We now expect to begin shipping in the first week of December and aim to finish by 15th December. Rest assured that we will be working tirelessly to improve on these dates wherever possible.

In the meantime, we have temporarily removed Metal Slug from sale on our site. This will help us to prioritise the shipment of existing pre-orders. The product will be available again once we feel comfortable that we can fulfil the orders in a timely manner. If you would instead prefer to cancel your pre-order, then please get in touch and we will be happy to oblige.

Finally, we wish to offer our sincere apologies for any inconvenience and disappointment this news may cause. We take our shipping estimates very seriously and know that we have let you down on this occasion.
