DATA DISCS, in partnership with CAPCOM, is proud to announce the vinyl soundtrack to one of the most beautiful and singularly artistic games ever made: OKAMI™. A selection of sublime and reflective orchestral tracks from the BAFTA-winning score, now available again to coincide with the game’s 20th anniversary.

Originally released in 2006 and composed by Masami Ueda, Hiroshi Yamaguchi, Rei Kondoh and Akari Groves, the music of OKAMI™ perfectly embodies the creative beauty of the game and its recurring themes of restoration and resolve. Using traditional Japanese instruments and inspired by distant folklore, the score moves between peacefulness and danger, and colour and darkness; echoing the dualities of the natural world and transporting the listener to an ancient Nippon that never existed, yet feels like a half-remembered dream. OKAMI™ is one of the most contemplative, unique, and unequivocally beautiful game scores ever made.

The OKAMI™ vinyl soundtrack is presented as a quadruple LP boxset, pressed on heavyweight frosted clear vinyl and comprising over two hours of remastered music. It is packaged in a spot-varnished hardboard slipcase, along with a 40-page artbook, printed inner sleeves and a double-sided lithographic art print, featuring original illustrations from the CAPCOM archives. A download code for the album in both lossless and lossy formats is also included.

In addition, an art card commemorating the game’s 20th anniversary will also be included with all pre-orders placed through our store (while stocks last).

This edition is a repress of our previous frosted clear edition from 2018, though some minor cardstock and colour differences are likely due to changes in materials at our manufacturer since then.
